Industry News...

".....Studies performed by 3M (makers of Thinsulate® Insulation) have shown that one quarter of your bodies heat loss is through breathing. Every time you take a breath and exhale, you are sucking cold air into and pumping heat out of your body. No matter how good your clothing, no matter how good your wind protection, you will still lose 25% of your body heat through breathing." Not good for cold weather survival.

Just another safety reason to wear a breath mask
while working....
in cold weather conditions.

We work in some of the worst winter conditions on Earth and the made in USA NO-FOG® Mask has never let us down. First learned of these a few years back when I was working for another oil company. Now here in North America I see a lot of companies in Alaska have adopted these as well.  Howard D., BP

I used the NO-FOG® when I was working outside on aircraft at -50 actual temperature. Climbing up and down ladders to conduct my inspections.... I recommend this product to everyone who works outdoors. It also ensured I had clean air to breathe and not exhaust fumes. That feature was a surprise advantage to this mask as well. Thank you for a fantastic product that actually works in the frozen tundra of Iqaluit, Nunavut and Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.  J.S. Aero Technician

After we had a rare winter storm come through here recently a lot of the clean up crews had trouble with fogging safety glasses but not me. Because I had one of your NO-FOG® Masks which kept me completely fog-free. I can't even tell you what a great piece of personal safety equipment it has become. My brother who works in the oil patch industry in Alaska also swears by them and his company stocks them for their workers. I also have friends in the Bakken who also wear them as well.  Stanley H. North Dakota

Works great with our mandated riot gear helmets to prevent shield fogging. Also fits well with our 3-hole balaclava's compared to anything else we've tried.  Wolfgang S., Germany

*Always wear the proper size and allow breath to exit down and out. Breath deflector type and part # needs to be determined by the end user prior to use. Hard hats, welding helmets, work shields, safety glasses, etc. all have different requirements. Be informed. Study what's going on and follow instructions for top performance... And know your intended application and definition of "breath fog."  Specifications are subject to change without notice.
